A very warm welcome to Langley Dyslexia, based in Grimsby, Lincolnshire. If you are looking for help with an assessment for dyslexia or tutoring, you have come to the right place!
Megan Langley is an Associate Member of the British Dyslexia Association (AMBDA), a Patoss Professional Member (PPM) and a Member of the Dyslexia Guild (MDG). She holds a current Assessment Practising Certificate (APC) which can be found on the SASC website. Dyslexic herself, she made the decision to concentrate her personal and professional experience, empathy and passion solely on independent dyslexia assessment and tutoring. She collaborates with schools and parents to advocate for and give her students that edge to level the playing field and ensure they have the access arrangements, confidence and skills they need to achieve their very best.
Megan studied for her Bachelor’s Degree (hons) in English Literature from 2009-2012 at Bishop Grosseteste University in Lincoln, where she met her partner. Whilst working full-time from 2014-2021 as a Year 6 Teacher at St. James’ School in Grimsby, she studied at the University of Chester towards a Master’s Degree in Dyslexia Research and Practice. It was here she qualified to be a dyslexia tutor and assessor, providing her with the professional attributes to make a real difference to children, young people and adults with specific learning differences (dyslexia) and literacy difficulties.
Please have a look around Megan’s website and Facebook page and feel free to contact her should you have any questions about assessment and tutoring needs.
